Common use of FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS AGREEMENT. (a) A regular full-time employee shall be defined as a person appointed to staff and regularly employed for more than 20 hours per week. (b) A regular part-time employee shall be defined as a person appointed to staff and regularly employed for 20 hours per week or less. (c) A "casual" employee shall be defined as a person not appointed to the regular staff, who is either a provisional worker or on the Board's "Casual Assistant" list. (d) A "temporary" employee shall be defined as a bona fide summer student who works less than five (5) months.
