For those teachers employed as of October 31st, the Employer will deposit the full amount of the HSA / WSA no later than November 30th.
For those teachers teaching in the Bonanza School who must live in BC, the premium support for Alberta Health Care provided in clause 9.4 (c) shall be paid to the teachers to offset costs of BC medical insurance.
For those teachers teaching in a Year-Round Education program, new to the teaching profession in Alberta, their salary will be paid in one of two ways:
a) Salary and benefits shall be paid in twelve equal installments from August to July in each year
b) Salary and benefits will be paid in twelve equal installments from September to August in each year. An advance is available in the month of August in the first year of employment with the Employer and will be recouped equally from the September, October and November cheques. Teachers will be eligible for benefit coverage effective August 1 in the year of employment with the Employer.
For those teachers that the evaluator has determined to use the short form, the evaluator shall:
16.30.1.1 Notify the teacher in writing by November 10th of the intended use of the short form certification.
16.30.1.2 Certify in writing by November 20th that the teacher shall have the same rating as that received on the most recent long form evaluation.
