Format, addressing and delivery. 18.1.1. A notice under this Agreement is only effective if it is in writing, and addressed as follows: a. if given by the Recipient to the Commonwealth - addressed to the Commonwealth at the address specified in Item L of the Schedule, or other address as notified by the Commonwealth; or b. if given by the Commonwealth to the Recipient - given by the Commonwealth and addressed as specified in Item L of the Schedule, or other address as notified by the Recipient. 18.1.2. Any such notice must be delivered to the other party by hand, prepaid post or transmitted electronically (via email or facsimile) and be signed by the sending party. For the avoidance of doubt, an electronic signature on an email will be taken to be a signed notice for the purpose of this clause 18.
