Four Platoon System. The four platoon system of twelve-hour shift scheduling consists of a member being on duty for twelve (12) consecutive hours, followed by at least twelve (12) consecutive hours off duty. A shift cycle shall contain two (2) twelve-hour consecutive day shifts followed by two (2) twelve-hour consecutive night shifts.
