Common use of Fraud and Abuse Recoveries Clause in Contracts

Fraud and Abuse Recoveries. The State must improve fraud and abuse recoveries by: a) Submitting for CMS review an action plan by April 1, 2012, to enhance Medicaid fraud and abuse recoveries by the end of the Demonstration period ending September 30, 2016. b) Submitting to CMS an annual report of the State’s implementation of its action plan as required in paragraph 38. c) Demonstrating by September 30, 2016, that its level of recoveries is equal to, or greater than, the level anticipated in the action report approved by CMS.
