Common use of Free Trade Area Clause in Contracts

Free Trade Area. 1. This Agreement establishes a free trade area between the Parties, in conformity with the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade ("GATT 1994"), and in particular Article XXIV thereof. 2. This Agreement shall respect the principle of asymmetry, commensurate to the specific needs and capacity constraints of the SACU Member States and Mozambique, in terms of levels and timing for commitments under this Agreement.
