A voltage sag occurs when the supply voltage falls below 90% of the nominal supply voltage other than in the case of a momentary fluctuation. If no suitable means of measurement of voltage is permanently available (such as by advanced metering functionality), supply voltage must only be measured in response to a Customer complaint.
