Front Panel Displays. For this specification, a display is defined as that portion or area of a monitor that has clearly defined boundaries and is reserved for a specific type of operator display format. The DACS shall allow for the selection and display of multiple display pages on multiple monitors. These displays provide data to operators and facilitate data input. A display page shall contain UUT and or Test Stand parameters as well as icons for test stand control. A display may or may not take up an entire monitor. The contractor shall optimize the layout of the display screens to present the operator an efficient annunciation system. The contractor shall provide the capability for the operator to dynamically change screens during test. Display screens shall be provided in accordance with MIL-STD-1472 – Human Engineering. For the purpose of this spec and how it interacts with the MIL-STD-1472 - Human Engineering, the terms CRT and LCD monitor shall be interchangeable.
