Common use of Full and Independent Knowledge Clause in Contracts

Full and Independent Knowledge. Each party hereto represents that it has been represented by an attorney in connection with the preparation and review of this Settlement Agreement, that its representative has specifically discussed with its attorney the meaning and effect of this Settlement Agreement and that its representative has carefully read and understands the scope and effect of each provision contained herein. Each party hereto further represents that it does not rely and has not relied upon any representation or statement made by the other party hereto or any of its representatives with regard to the subject matter, basis or effect of this Settlement Agreement and has voluntarily entered into this Settlement Agreement.
