FURTHER PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS. In addition to the procedures listed in Sections 7, 8, and 9 of this Appendix, the following procedures shall also be observed: a. The City will bear the cost of the initial and confirmatory tests. If an employee chooses to test the second sample, the employee will pay the cost of the test(s). However, in the event that the second sample produces a negative test, the City will reimburse the employee for the cost of the second sample testing. b. Testing shall be evaluated in a manner to ensure that an employee's legal drug and alcohol use does not affect the evaluation of the test results. c. All test results will be evaluated by a suitably trained physician. d. Test results will be treated with the same confidentiality as other employee medical records.
