FUTURE TERM. The term of a successor agreement shall be up to five (5) years provided that if as of the date this current Agreement would otherwise expire (June 30, 2018), the Company has entered into an agreement with the National Science Foundation to oper- ate a research vessel on and after that date, then the new Agreement shall correspond to the length of that operating agreement, not to exceed five years; upon such terms as are agreeable to the parties.
