GAS SPECIFICATION. (a) The Delivering Participant must ensure that all gas delivered to the Receiving Participant at the Delivery Point meets the gas quality specification contained in Australian Standard AS4564-2005, Specification for General Purpose Natural Gas (as amended or replaced from time to time), and any additional gas quality specifications specified for that Delivery Point in schedule 2 or schedule 3 or, in relation to a Pre-matched Trade or Broker Pre-matched Trade, any additional gas quality specification specified by the Gas Transporter for the Delivery Point for the Pre-matched Trade or Broker Pre-matched Trade. (b) The Delivering Participant is taken to have delivered gas to the Receiving Participant in accordance with the applicable specifications when the gas passes the Delivery Point, unless: (i) the Gas Transporter notifies either or both of the parties that the gas is or was Off- Specification Gas; or (ii) an Off-Specification Notice is given in respect of the gas under clause 14.5.4. Note: Clause 14.5.4(h) provides for the rights and liabilities of the parties where one of these notices is given in respect of Off-Specification Gas that has already passed the Delivery Point.

GAS SPECIFICATION. (a) All Gas supplied by User at a Receipt Point must: (i) conform with the specification set down in AS 4564 “Australian Standard Specification for General Purpose Natural Gas”; (ii) not contain more than 5% by volume of carbon dioxide; (iii) not have a water vapour content of more than sixty milligrams per cubic metre (60 mg/m3) or as otherwise advised by Service Provider; and (iv) not exceed seventy two degrees (72°C) in temperature, provided that at no time may the Gas Specification be of a lesser standard than that required by law (Gas Specification). (b) For the avoidance of doubt, User acknowledges and agrees that in order to conform with the Gas Specification the Gas must not contain: (i) materials, dust or other solid or liquid matter, waxes, gums, gum forming constituents, and unsaturated or aromatic hydrocarbons to an extent which might cause damage to, or interfere with the proper operation of, pipes, meters, regulators, control systems, equipment or appliances or which might cause the Gas to be harmful or toxic to persons having contact with it in normal work operations or usage; (ii) unsaturated or aromatic hydrocarbons to an extent that causes unacceptable sooting; or (iii) other substances to the extent that they cause damage to, or problems in operation of, pipelines or appliances or that cause the products of combustion to be toxic, or hazardous to health, other than substances that are usually found in natural Gas combustion products. (c) For the purpose of the Gas Specification, carbon dioxide is an inert gas.
GAS SPECIFICATION. (a) The Buyer must ensure that all gas made available for delivery to the Seller at the Receipt Point under this agreement meets the Gas Specification. (b) Subject to the Buyer complying with its obligation under clause 8.1(a), the Seller must ensure that all gas made available for delivery to the Buyer at the Delivery Point under this agreement meets the Gas Specification.
GAS SPECIFICATION. For the purposes of this document, Natural Gas means a substance that, is mostly methane, is in a natural gaseous state at standard temperature and pressure, consists of naturally occurring hydrocarbons, or a naturally occurring mixture of hydrocarbons and non-hydrocarbons, and is suitable for utilisation, and transmission through pipelines, as specified in Schedule 1.

GAS SPECIFICATION. Gas delivered to the Delivery Point in accordance with the Agreement will be delivered to the Buyer in accordance with the specifications applicable in Queensland or the National Gas Specification if adopted.
