Common use of Gates and Fences Clause in Contracts

Gates and Fences. Whenever the Contractor receives permission to enter DOWM property in areas that are exit/entrance points not secured by the City, the Contractor may be required to provide gates that comply with DOWM design and construction standards. Contractor must provide a licensed and bonded security guard, subject to the Commissioner's approval and armed as deemed necessary by the Commissioner, at the gates when the gates are in use. DOWM Security will provide the locks. Failure to provide and maintain the necessary security will result in an immediate closure by DOWM personnel of the point of access.
