Gates and Fences. Whenever the Contractor receives permission to enter O.E.M.C property in areas that are exit/entrance points not secured by the City, the Contractor may be required to provide gates that comply with O.E.M.C design and construction standards. Contractor must provide a licensed and bonded security guard, subject to the Executive Director's approval and armed as deemed necessary by the Executive Director, at the gates when the gates are in use. O.E.M.C Security will provide the locks. Failure to provide and maintain the necessary security will result in an immediate closure by O.E.M.C personnel of the point of access. Stockpiling materials and parking of equipment or vehicles near O.E.M.C security fencing is prohibited. Any security fencing, gates, or alarms damaged by the Contractor or its Subcontractors must be manned by a licensed and bonded security guard of the Contractor at Contractor's expense until the damaged items are restored. Contractor must restore them to their original condition within an eight (8) hour period from the time of notice given by the Executive Director. Temporary removal of any security fencing, gate or alarm to permit construction must be approved by the Executive Director, and Contractor must man the site by a licensed and bonded security guard, approved by and armed as deemed necessary by the Executive Director, at Contractor's expense, on a twenty-four (24) hour basis during the period of temporary removal. Contractor must restore the items removed to their original condition when construction is completed.
