Common use of General and Product Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

General and Product Liability Insurance. insurance covering all Liabilities in respect of any injury to, or death of, any person not being a person who at the time of the occurrence is engaged in or upon the service of the insured under a contract of service or apprenticeship, or any loss, damage or destruction to property not belonging to nor in the care, custody or control of the insured, however caused, as well as sudden and accidental pollution. Such insurance must provide cover to an amount as specified in the Contract Details for each and every claim (or if no amount is specified, such amount as is in accordance with Good Operating Practices).
