Common use of General Description of Construction Documents Submittal Clause in Contracts

General Description of Construction Documents Submittal. A/E shall prepare, for written approval by the DFCM Representative, Construction Documents consisting of Drawings and Specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the construction of the Project. The narrative shall include the A/E’s proposed design and construction budget which shall be within the DFCM budget provided to the A/E. The A/E shall advise the DFCM of any adjustments to previous preliminary estimates of Construction cost indicated by changes in requirements or general market conditions. The Construction Documents shall comply with the following: a. The DFCM approved Design Development Documents and any further adjustments in the scope or quality of the Project or in the construction budget authorized by DFCM; b. The Construction Documents shall comply with and identify all applicable codes, tests and inspections; and c. The provision of this Agreement and the Design Manual.
