General Notes. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Delaware Department of Transportation Standard Specifications dated June 2021, the DelDOT Special Provisions, the most recent Standard Construction Details, the current Delaware MUTCD (including revisions up to the day of contract advertising) and these plans.

In the event of a death in the immediate family of an employee covered by this Agreement, the Employer agrees to grant the employee the necessary time off without loss of pay up to five (5) days. Immediate family shall be considered as father, mother, mother- in-law, father-in-law, wife, husband, common law spouse, sister, brother, son or daughter. Two days bereavement time off with pay will be allowed for the death of grandparents, grandchildren, sister-in-law or brother-in-law. Where it is necessary for any employees to be absent from work on Union business, the Employer agrees to release such employee for the time necessary at the request of the Union, at no expense to the Employer. Where an employee is called for jury duty or is subpoenaed as a witness, the employee shall be paid his or her full pay by the Employer. Such employee will give their jury pay or witness pay cheque to the Employer in return. Shift staffs for groups I, and V shall be by choice of seniority. Employees are allowed to exercise this privilege once per year. Groups (Truck Drivers) and shall continue as presently practised. When an employee exercises seniority to fill a requirement for a shift that is in place for less than one year, the employee's obligation to remain on that shift shall end when the shift is removed. General Notes. This policy shall not create any obligation on behalf of Rinat and may be modified at any time at Rinat’s discretion without prior notice. Interpretations of this policy shall be the responsibility of the President, in consultation with appropriate members of the Executive Board.
