Generic first across all plans Sample Clauses
The 'Generic first across all plans' clause establishes that a generic version of a product, such as a pharmaceutical drug, will be the initial option offered or covered under all applicable plans before any branded alternatives. In practice, this means that when a generic equivalent is available, insurance plans or benefit programs will prioritize its use, often requiring patients to try the generic before considering more expensive branded versions. This clause helps control costs and ensures consistency across plans by promoting the use of lower-cost generics as the default choice.
