COMMUNITY MENTORING INITIATIVE. Community Mentoring Initiative shall be authorized in accordance with Administrative Order 7-40 and upon approval by the Department Director, employees will be granted one (1) hour of administrative leave per week, up to a maximum of five (5) hours per month, to volunteer at one or more of the following activities assuming that such volunteer work is performed during normal scheduled work hours: • Community volunteer activities such as mentoring, tutoring, guest speaking or providing any related services at the direction of the program or volunteer coordinator; • Community service programs that meet child, elder or other human needs, including but not limited to, Guardian Ad Litem, Big Brother/Big Sister, Senior Corps and Adult Literacy.

APPENDIX A Fire Prevention Division Assignment Pay:  Employees who are assigned full time to the Fire Prevention Division shall be paid at a rate one step above their regular rate of pay, except employees at the maximum step of the salary range who shall receive 5% above regular rate. The following provisions shall be effective the beginning of the first pay period in October 2004. The following shall be the minimum requirements for employees in the Fire Prevention Division. The term “Fire Prevention Inspector” shall be used as designation for all Fire Prevention employees working in Fire Inspections and Fire Engineering. The term “Fire Prevention Investigator” shall be used as designation for all Fire Prevention employees working in the Fire Investigations Bureau. • Minimum requirement to bid a Fire Prevention Inspector position is State of Florida Fire Inspector Certification. • Minimum requirement to bid Fire Engineering Inspector/Plan Reviewer is Fire Prevention Inspector III. • Assignment Pay Supplements for Fire Prevention Inspector and Fire Prevention Investigator are not transferable from Bureau to Bureau. Employees who are State of Florida Fire Inspector Certified and are currently assigned full-time to the Fire Prevention Division will receive 3% above their regular rate of pay.   • Mentoring Program It is recognized that the induction of new teachers through a formalized mentoring program will help to promote excellence in teaching and improve student achievement. The focus of this program will be to build a supportive environment for new teachers within the context of school improvement. Veteran teachers may be asked or encouraged to mentor a new staff member but will not be required to do so. Mentors will be compensated for this work N. Moving Classrooms: Employees who are asked to change classrooms or offices will be provided the assistance of district personnel in moving boxes and/or large items.

  • Resourcing 5.1. NHS England may, at its discretion provide support or staff to the CCG. NHS England may, when exercising such discretion, take into account, any relevant factors (including without limitation the size of the CCG, the number of Primary Medical Services Contracts held and the need for the Local NHS England Team to continue to deliver the Reserved Functions).

  • Staffing Consultant will designate in writing to Authority its representative, and the manner in which it will provide staff support for the project, which must be approved by Authority. Consultant must notify Authority’s Contract Representative of any change in personnel assigned to perform work under this Contract, and the Authority’s Contract Representative has the right to reject the person or persons assigned to fill the position or positions. The Authority’s Contract Representative shall also have the right to require the removal of the Consultant’s previously assigned personnel, including Consultant’s representative, provided sufficient cause for such removal exists. The criteria for requesting removal of an individual will be based on, but not limited to, the following: technical incompetence, inability to meet the position’s qualifications, failure to perform, poor attendance, ethics violation, unsafe work habits, or damage to Authority or other property. Upon notice for removal, Consultant shall replace such personnel with personnel substantially equal in ability and qualifications for the positions and shall submit the proposed replacement personnel qualification and abilities to the Authority, in writing, for approval.

  • Mentoring An increasing number of jurisdictions are expressing interest in being part of one or more international agreements that have as their main purpose the international benchmarking of engineering education or engineering practice standards. Accord signatories, when requested by the Committee, are willing to provide support, advice and guidance through a mentoring system to jurisdictions that are anticipating making formal application for provisional status or applying for upgrading to signatory of an Accord. The management of mentoring arrangements shall conform with any policy approved by the International Engineering Alliance in regard to risks to the safety and security of mentors.
