Common use of GEOGRAPHIC & MARKET CONDITIONS Clause in Contracts

GEOGRAPHIC & MARKET CONDITIONS. The parties of this Agreement recognize the necessi- ty of assuring the competitive position of the parties within the industry during the term of this Agreement . Consistent with the recognition, notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, the parties to the Agreement hereby establish a Committee composed of two (2) representatives appointed by xxx Xxxxxxxxxx Union and two (2) representatives appointed by the Inland Northwest AGC . The committee will review requests for changes in the terms and conditions of the Labor Agreement that may be necessary to preserve work opportunities for employees and individual em- ployers covered by this Agreement . The Committee is authorized to approve such changes as it deems to be in the best interest of the parties to the Agreement . The parties to this Agreement will work together to preserve work opportunities for the Employers and Employees covered by this Agreement . The Committee shall meet at least once per quarter and identify and discuss areas of concern to the parties in- volving issues including, but not limited to non-signa- tory Employers, private work recovery, new technol- ogy, prevailing wages, etc . All signatory contractors shall be notified of any modifications, changes, etc.
