Common use of Geographical Consideration Clause in Contracts

Geographical Consideration. A formal TAT placement into a position will be no more than 40 km from the previous school to the new school(s) unless no other positions are available within that distance. The Joint Staffing Committee will also attempt to make STS placements within a 40 km distance from the previous school(s). Placements and offers in excess of 40 km may be considered by the JSC if the new position does not increase the driving distance from the Teacher’s home.
