The 'German language course' clause establishes the terms under which a party is required to participate in or provide a course for learning the German language. Typically, this clause outlines who must attend the course, the duration, and whether the costs are covered by the employer or another party. Its core function is to ensure that individuals involved in the agreement acquire necessary German language skills, which can facilitate communication, integration, or compliance with local requirements.
German language course. The postponement must be requested four weeks before the German language course starts. It can only be postponed to another course on offer. Should the course participants request a postponement during the course, additional costs will be charged according to the already received service.
German language course. The second and any further postponement of a German language course will be charged with a fee of 45 € (i.e. “Umbuchungsgebühr”).

  • Suggested Language The following provides a debarment and suspension clause. It incorporates an optional method of verifying that contractors are not excluded or disqualified. (1) This contract is a covered transaction for purposes of 2 C.F.R. pt. 180 and 2 C.F.R. pt. 3000. As such, the contractor is required to verify that none of the contractor’s principals (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.995) or its affiliates (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.905) are excluded (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.940) or disqualified (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.935). (4) The bidder or proposer agrees to comply with the requirements of 2 C.F.R. pt. 180, subpart C and 2 C.F.R. pt. 3000, subpart C while this offer is valid and throughout the period of any contract that may arise from this offer. The bidder or proposer further agrees to include a provision requiring such compliance in its lower tier covered transactions.

  • English Language Learners The Charter School shall comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations relating to the provision of educational services to English Language Learners.

  • Spanish Language The parties agree that, except as set forth in this Amendment, the current terms of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. All capitalized terms not defined will have the meaning given to them in the Agreement.

  • Contract Language The following language shall be included in contracts for City projects between the Consultant and any Subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers: Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, gender expression, gender identity, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or disability in the solicitation, selection, hiring, or treatment of subcontractors, vendors, or suppliers. Consultant shall provide equal opportunity for Subcontractors to participate in opportunities. Consultant understands and agrees that violation of this clause shall be considered a material breach of the contract and may result in contract termination, debarment, or other sanctions.

  • Official Languages (a) Appointments and transfers shall be subject to the Corporate Official Languages Policy, as it may be amended from time to time. (b) The parties agree to study the feasibility of developing a program to facilitate the exchange of employees who wish to improve their proficiency in the other official language.
