Common use of GMP Cost Limitation Clause in Contracts

GMP Cost Limitation. The amount stipulated in the Design Professional Contract as the maximum sum to be specified in the CM/GC Construction Agreement for the construction of the Project prior to execution of the GMP Change Order. The GMP Cost Limitation does not include the cost of fixtures, furniture, or equipment unless expressly stated in the Project Development File or Program. Fixtures, furniture, or equipment not included in the Project Development File or Program may be added as a design requirement and included in the GMP Cost Limitation by an amendment to this Contract. GMP Cost Limitation does not include design costs, Owner contingency, or Site acquisition costs.
