Common use of Governing Laws and Attornment Clause in Contracts

Governing Laws and Attornment. This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein without regard to conflicts of law principles that would apply a different body of law, and the Authority, Project Co and the Independent Certifier hereby irrevocably submit and attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that Province and all courts competent to hear appeals therefrom with respect to any action, suit, proceeding or dispute in connection with this Agreement.
