GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION. 19.01 In the event that any of the provisions of this Agreement are found to be in conflict with any valid and applicable federal or provincial law now existing or hereinafter enacted, it is agreed that such law shall supersede the conflicting provision, without in any way affecting the remainder of the Agreement. 19.02 Deemed Assignment of Compensation under the Employment Standards Amendment Act, 1991 - The Trustees of the Employee Benefit Plans referred to in this Collective Agreement shall promptly notify the Union of the failure by any Employer to pay any employee benefit contri- butions required to be made under this Collective Agreement and which are owed under said plans in order that the Program Administrator of the Employee Wage Protection Program may deem that there has been an assignment of compensation under the said Program in compliance with the Regulation to the Employment Standards Amendment Act, 1991, in relation to the Employee Wage Protection Program.
