Government Responsibilities. We shall disclose all information and provide reasonable and agreed computer facilities and access necessary for you to provide the Service.
Government Responsibilities. (a) The Government has principal responsibility for overseeing and managing the implementation of the Program.
(b) With the prior written consent of MCC, the Government will designate an entity to be established through a formation order issued by the Council of Ministers of Nepal, as the accountable entity to implement the Program and to exercise and perform the Government’s right and obligation to oversee, manage and implement the Program, including without limitation, managing the implementation of Projects and their Activities, allocating resources and managing procurements. Such entity will be referred to herein as “MCA-Nepal,” and will have the authority to act on behalf of the Government with regard to all Program activities. The Government hereby also designates MCA-Nepal to exercise and perform the Government’s rights and responsibilities to oversee, manage, and implement the activities defined in the Amended and Restated Initial Engagement Technical Assistance Grant Agreement, dated July 20, 2016. The designation contemplated by this Section 3.2(b) will not relieve the Government of any obligations or responsibilities hereunder or under any related agreement, for which the Government remains fully responsible. MCC hereby acknowledges and consents to the designation in this Section 3.2(b).
(c) The Government will ensure that any Program Assets or services funded in whole or in part (directly or indirectly) by MCC Funding are used solely in furtherance of this Compact and the Program unless MCC agrees otherwise in writing.
(d) The Government will take all necessary or appropriate steps to achieve the Project Objectives during the Compact Term (including, without limiting Section 2.6(a), funding all costs that exceed MCC Funding and are required to carry out the terms hereof and achieve such objectives, unless MCC agrees otherwise in writing).
(e) The Government will ensure that the Program is implemented and that the Government carries out its obligations hereunder with due care, efficiency and diligence in conformity with sound technical, financial, and management practices, and in conformity with this Compact, the Program Implementation Agreement, each other Supplemental Agreement and the Program Guidelines.

Government Responsibilities. The Government agrees to promptly take all necessary or appropriate actions to carry out all of its obligations under the Compact, this Agreement, and any other Supplemental Agreement (including any post-Compact Term activities, audits or other responsibilities), and to delegate its rights and responsibilities to entities, including MCA-Côte d’Ivoire, adequate to enable them (each a “Permitted Designee”) to oversee and manage the implementation of the Program on behalf of the Government.
Government Responsibilities. (a) The Government shall have principal responsibility for oversight and management of the implementation of the Program (i) in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in this Compact and relevant Supplemental Agreements, (ii) in accordance with all applicable laws then in effect in the Republic of Vanuatu, and (iii) in a timely and cost- effective manner and in conformity with sound technical, financial and management practices (collectively, the “Government Responsibilities”). Unless otherwise expressly provided, any reference to the Government Responsibilities or any other responsibilities or obligations of the Government herein shall be deemed to apply to any Government Affiliate and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, sub-contractors, grantees, sub-grantees, agents or representatives.
(b) The Government shall ensure that no person or entity shall participate in the selection, award, administration or oversight of a contract, grant or other benefit or transaction funded in whole or in part (directly or indirectly) by MCC Funding, in which (i) the entity, the person, members of the person’s immediate family or household or his or her business partners, or organizations controlled by or substantially involving such person or entity, has or have a financial or other interest or (ii) the person or entity is negotiating or has any arrangement concerning prospective employment, unless such person or entity has first disclosed in writing to the Government the conflict of interest and, following such disclosure, the Parties agreed in writing to proceed notwithstanding such conflict. The Government shall ensure that no person or entity involved in the selection, award, administration, oversight or implementation of any contract, grant or other benefit or transaction funded in whole or in part (directly or indirectly) by MCC Funding shall solicit or accept from or offer to a third party or seek or be promised (directly or indirectly) for itself or for another person or entity any gift, gratuity, favor or benefit, other than items of de minimis value and otherwise consistent with such guidance as MCC may provide from time to time.

Such entity will be referred to herein as “MCA-Georgia,” and has the authority to bind the Government with regard to all Program activities. The Government hereby also designates MCA-Georgia to exercise and perform the Government’s rights and responsibilities to oversee, manage and implement the activities defined in the Grant and Implementation Agreement, dated as of July 13, 2012. The designation by this Section 3.2(b) will not relieve the Government of any obligations or responsibilities hereunder or under any related agreement, for which the Government remains fully responsible. (d) The Government will take all necessary or appropriate steps to achieve the Program Objective and the Project Objectives during the Compact Term (including, without limiting Section 2.6(a), funding all costs that exceed MCC Funding and are required to carry out the terms hereof and achieve such objectives, unless MCC agrees otherwise in writing).
(e) The Government will ensure that the Program is implemented and that the Government carries out its obligations hereunder with due care, efficiency and diligence in conformity with sound technical, financial, and management practices, and in conformity with this Compact, the Program Implementation Agreement, each other Supplemental Agreement and the Program Guidelines.

Government Responsibilities. MCA-Benin II (A) will carry out the Designated Rights and Responsibilities (including all obligations specified as MCA-Benin II obligations in the Compact, the Grant and Implementation Agreement, this Agreement or any other Supplemental Agreement) with due care, efficiency and diligence in conformity with sound technical, financial and management practices, and in conformity with the Compact, this Agreement, each other Supplemental Agreement and the Program Guidelines, (B) except as provided in Section 2.10 or with respect to an Implementing Entity, will not assign, delegate or otherwise transfer any of the Designated Rights and Responsibilities without the prior written consent of MCC, and (C) will not undertake any activities, duties or responsibilities, other than the Designated Rights and Responsibilities, without the prior written consent of MCC.
Government Responsibilities. The Government will review submittals designated for Government approval and approve those that conform to Contract requirements. Approval will not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility for any error which may exist, as the Contractor under the requirements of this contract is responsible for ensuring that the quantities, waste characterizations and classifications, and all other details of the waste on-site matches what is on the manifest prior to signature of the manifest. After submittals have been approved by the COR or other designated Government representative, no resubmittal for the purpose of changing the manifest's waste classification will be given consideration unless accompanied by justification as to why a change is necessary.
Government Responsibilities. The Government will provide updated Technology Objectives, periodic briefings, and ongoing guidance for Research Project Proposals. The Government may: Provide strategic and/or technical guidance Directly participate in the work to be performed under the Research Project Awards Provide full or partial funding Share expertise and facilities Participate as the Government Sponsor with MTEC arranged meetings including membership/ recruiting events, program reviews, audio/video tele-conferences, and other industry related events. The Government shall: Retain technically acceptable, unfunded proposals for two years for potential funding at a future time Issue requests for Request for Project Proposals through the CM Evaluate MTEC Member Research Project Proposals and make Research Project Award decisions Provide technical oversight of Research Project Awards Assess efficiency and effectiveness of Consortium Management activities.

Such entity will be referred to herein as “MCA-Jordan,” and has the authority to bind the Government with regard to all Program activities. The designation by this Section 3.2(b) will not relieve the Government of any obligations or responsibilities hereunder or under any related agreement, for which the Government remains fully responsible. MCC hereby acknowledges and consents to the designation in this Section 3.2(b).
(c) The Government will ensure that any Program Assets or services funded in whole or in part (directly or indirectly) by MCC Funding are used solely in furtherance of this Compact and the Program unless MCC agrees otherwise in writing.
(d) The Government will take all necessary or appropriate steps to achieve the Program Objective and the Project Objectives during the Compact Term (including, without limiting Section 2.6(a), funding all costs that exceed MCC Funding and are required to carry out the terms hereof and achieve such objectives, unless MCC agrees otherwise in writing).
(e) The Government will fully comply with the Program Guidelines, as applicable, in its implementation of the Program.
Government Responsibilities. The Government will be responsible for the following:
a. Removing disabled Government aircraft as expeditiously as possible in order to minimize the time the Jointly Used Flying Facilities, or any part thereof, would be closed because of such aircraft.
b. Subject to availability of appropriations therefore, repairing within a reasonable time damage to the Jointly Used Flying Facilities to the extent that such damage is caused solely by Government aircraft operations and/or Government equipment installed and maintained by Government on the Jointly Used Flying Facilities and is in excess of the fair wear and tear resulting from the military use contemplated under this Agreement.
