Common use of Government Restrictions Clause in Contracts

Government Restrictions. In the event of imposition of federal, state, or local government controls, rules, regulations, or restrictions on the use or consumption of energy or other utilities during the term of this lease, both Lessor and County shall be bound thereby. Any costs associated with compliance shall be paid by the Lessor unless such costs are directly related to the conduct of County’s business within the premises.
