The GPC Governing Council clause establishes the creation and authority of a governing body responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of the GPC (Global Project Consortium or similar entity). This clause typically outlines the composition of the council, the process for appointing its members, and the scope of its decision-making powers, such as approving budgets, setting policies, or resolving disputes among members. GPC Governing Council. The GPC will have a “GPC Governing Council” comprised of representatives of each GPC Party, which oversees the infrastructure and software development of Research Repositories and authorizes the GPC Honest Broker to create Aggregate Responses.

In the event of expiration or termination of the PCORI Subcontract, the GPC Governing Council shall consist of two representatives from each Party, who shall be appointed by the chief executive officer of each Party.
