Common use of GRANT BY XXXXXXX Clause in Contracts

GRANT BY XXXXXXX. Xxxxxxx hereby grants to Rigel and its Affiliates a nonexclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license in the Field of Research during the Research Period under the Xxxxxxx Technology and Xxxxxxx'x interest in the Research Program Technology in the Territory, subject to the terms of this Agreement, solely for the purpose of carrying out Rigel's responsibilities under the Research Program.
