GRANT CLAIMS. 5.1 Amount of Grant payable (a) The total amount of Grant payable in respect of Eligible Youth Employment Initiative Expenditure will be either the Youth Employment Initiative Maximum Sum, or an amount calculated by applying the Youth Employment Initiative Contribution Rate to the actual Eligible Youth Employment Initiative Expenditure, whichever is the lower. (b) The total amount of Grant payable in respect of Eligible General European Social Fund Expenditure will be either the General European Social Fund Maximum Sum, or an amount calculated by applying the General European Social Fund Contribution Rate to the actual Eligible General European Social Fund Expenditure, whichever is the lower. (c) The total amount of Grant paid to the Grant Recipient shall not exceed the Maximum Sum.
