Common use of Grantee’s Responsibilities Upon Termination Clause in Contracts

Grantee’s Responsibilities Upon Termination. If DEO issues a Notice of Termination to Grantee, except as otherwise specified by DEO in that notice, the Grantee shall: A. Stop work under this Agreement on the date and to the extent specified in the notice; B. Complete performance of such part of the work as shall not have been terminated by DEO; C. Take such action as may be necessary, or as DEO may specify, to protect and preserve any property which is in the possession of Grantee and in which DEO has or may acquire an interest; and D. Upon the effective date of termination of this Agreement, Grantee shall transfer, assign, and make available to the DEO all property and materials belonging to DEO. No extra compensation will be paid to Grantee for its services in connection with such transfer or assignment.
