Grievance Discussion. A regular employee or employee representative will be unimpeded and free from restraint, discrimination, interference, or reprisal in seeking appropriate adjustment of a grievance provided, however, that an employee's representative may not participate in an informal discussion with the supervisor as required prior to the filing of a formal written grievance.

Grievance Discussion. An employee who feels that he/she has a grievance may, as soon as reasonably possible, discuss it with his/her immediate supervisor and union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The employee's immediate manager shall answer the grievance as soon as possible, but no later than at the end of the next scheduled work shift of the aggrieved employee. Settlements made in this step of the grievance procedure shall have no precedent value.
