Common use of Grooming Plan Clause in Contracts

Grooming Plan. Within ninety (90) days after the Effective Date, AT&T and GTE shall jointly begin the development of a plan (the “Grooming Plan”) which shall define and detail, inter alia, (i) standards to ensure that Interconnection trunk groups experience a grade of service, availability and quality in accord with all appropriate relevant industry-accepted quality, reliability and availability standards and in accordance with the levels GTE provides to itself, or any subsidiary, Affiliate or other person; (ii) the respective duties and responsibilities of the Parties with respect to the administration and maintenance of the Interconnections (including signaling) specified in Part IV and the trunk groups specified in Part IV, including standards and procedures for notification and discoveries of trunk disconnects; (iii) disaster recovery and escalation provisions; and

Within ninety (90) days after the Effective Date, AT&T ACSI and GTE shall jointly begin the development of a plan (the “Grooming Plan”) which shall define and detail, inter alia, (i) standards to ensure that Interconnection trunk groups experience a grade of service, availability and quality in accord with all appropriate relevant industry-accepted quality, reliability and availability standards and in accordance with the levels GTE provides to itself, or any subsidiary, Affiliate or other person; (ii) the respective duties and responsibilities of the Parties with respect to the administration and maintenance of the Interconnections (including signaling) specified in Part IV and the trunk groups specified in Part IV, including standards and procedures for notification and discoveries of trunk disconnects; (iii) disaster recovery and escalation provisions; andand (iv) such other matters as the Parties may agree.
