Common use of GROUNDED VESSELS Clause in Contracts

GROUNDED VESSELS. FOR CATEGORIES A & C: If the vessel is on the bottom or grounded/beached, Contractor may need a Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) from Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. Contractor should check with Purchaser to determine an HPA has been obtained. If Purchaser has not obtained an HPA, Contractor may be required to obtain an HPA.
