Grounds for Cancellation of Teaching Contracts. 36.2.1 The Board shall have the right to cancel the teaching contracts of teachers when the Board, in its sole discretion, finds that a justifiable decrease in the number of teaching positions is required. The following are examples of circumstances which may result in a justifiable decrease in the number of teaching positions:
