Common use of Growth Increments Clause in Contracts

Growth Increments. 46.01 An Employee may receive a Growth Increment in recognition of growth of responsibilities of the Position. The Growth Increment may be authorized by the Supervisor without utilizing the Job Review process described in Article 16. Growth Increments shall not be paid more than once every six (6) months. (a) The value of a Growth Increment shall be one-half (1/2) the value of a Salary Increment as enumerated in the schedule of Clause 45.02. (b) The value of a Growth Increment shall be reduced where a full Growth Increment would exceed the maximum established for the Phase, in which case the difference between the Employee’s salary and the established maximum salary shall be considered a full Growth Increment.
