Common use of Guarantee Pay Clause in Contracts

Guarantee Pay. ‌ If a Police Officer is required to work during his or her off-hours to perform department-directed duties or assignments, he or she shall be compensated for a minimum of three (3) hours at a rate of time and one half his or her regular pay. In the event that the Officer is required to perform the department directed duty on assignment immediately before or after the scheduled shift, the Officer will be compensated at a rate of time and one half his or her hourly rate for the period worked.
