Common use of Hazardous Substances / Hazardous Materials Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substances / Hazardous Materials. Contractor shall submit SDSs for approval of products to be used to the Customer prior to any use in the location. Contractor is not to use any product not approved by the Customer anywhere at the location. Contractor shall not use any product that has a ph level of less than 3 or a ph level greater than 11. Contractor is permitted to use certain products that the SDS rates it “Flammable or Mildly Toxic” with approval from the Location Manager (i.e. – weed control, pesticides & herbicides).
