HEALTH AND SAFETY DISPUTES. 69.1 Except for disputes involving the principles set out in the Tripartite Agreement on Joint Health and Safety Committees, all other disputes involving allegations that the IESO has violated the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) will not be subject to the provisions of the grievance/arbitration procedure except where provided for by the legislation itself. The parties will attempt to resolve such disputes at the lowest level possible. Failing resolution, the dispute may be forwarded to the Ministry of Labour for final resolution.
