Common use of Health and Safety etc Clause in Contracts

Health and Safety etc. 42.1 While on the Purchaser’s premises, the Service Provider must comply with the Purchaser’s policies concerning health and safety and fire and such modifications to those policies or replacement policies as are notified to the Service Provider from time to time. 42.2 The Service Provider must immediately inform the Purchaser in the event of any incident occurring in the performance of its obligations under the Contract on the Purchaser’s premises where that incident causes any personal injury or damage to property which could give rise to personal injury. The Service Provider must then promptly notify the Purchaser of that fact. 42.3 The Purchaser must promptly notify the Service Provider of any health and safety hazards which may exist or arise at the Purchaser’s premises and which may affect the Service Provider in the performance of its obligations under the Contract. 42.4 The Service Provider must promptly make available its statutory health and safety policy statement to the Purchaser on request.
