Common use of Health and Safety etc Clause in Contracts

Health and Safety etc. 50.1. While on the Purchaser’s premises, the Supplier must comply with the Purchaser’s policies concerning health and safety and such modifications to those policies or replacement policies as are notified to the Supplier from time to time. 50.2. The Supplier must immediately inform the Purchaser in the event of any incident occurring in the performance of its obligations under the Contract on the Purchaser’s premises where that incident causes any personal injury or damage to property which could give rise to personal injury. The Supplier must then promptly notify the Purchaser of that fact. 50.3. The Purchaser must promptly notify the Supplier of any health and safety hazards which may exist or arise at the Purchaser’s premises and which may affect the Supplier in the performance of its obligations under the Contract. 50.4. The Supplier must promptly make available its statutory health and safety policy statement to the Purchaser on request.
