Common use of HEALTH RETIREMENT ACCOUNT Clause in Contracts

HEALTH RETIREMENT ACCOUNT. Section 34.1: The Union and the City agree that the City will establish a Health Retirement Account for the benefit of members employed as of 3/7/06. This benefit will only be available to those bargaining unit members that are employed as of 3/7/06. Rehired members are only entitled to this benefit based on their current completed years of service.

This benefit will only be available to those bargaining unit members that are employed as at the time of 3/7/06ratification. Rehired members are only entitled to this benefit based on their current completed years of service.

Section 34.1: 39.1 The Union and the City agree that the City will establish a Health Retirement Account for the benefit of members employed as of 3/7/06on or after 10/1/15. This benefit will only be available to those bargaining unit members that are employed as on or after 10/1/15. Section 39.2 Effective 10/01/2015, the City will contribute to each member’s account $80.00 per month into a HRA established for the benefit of 3/7/06. Rehired members are only entitled to this benefit based on their current completed years of servicethe member ($960 annually).

Rehired members are only entitled Effective October 1, 2019, the City will suspend all contributions to this benefit based on their current completed years of servicethe HRA.
