Common use of HEIGHT PREMIUM Clause in Contracts

HEIGHT PREMIUM. An employee who is required to work at or above a height of twenty-four and four tenths (24.4) meters [eighty (80) feet] free fall above ground level will receive, in addition to their regular rate of pay, a premium of one (1) times their normal straight time rate while so engaged. Premium height pay will be paid for each hour or part of an hour so worked. The provision of Clause 16.9 shall not apply to height pay premium.
