Common use of Held for Investigation or Company Business Clause in Contracts

Held for Investigation or Company Business. 36.1 Employees held for company's investigation and no responsibility is attached to them in connection with the matter under investigation (i.e., not subject to discipline) or on Company business on the order of the proper officer will, if required to lose time by reason thereof, be paid for time lost. If no time is lost they will be paid from the time required to report until actually released at one and one-half times the hourly rate, with a minimum of two hours. Necessary actual expenses will be allowed when supported by receipts.
