High-Impact Events Availability. (1) The Employer will notify the Union, all part-time and all event employees of a High Impact Event with as much notice as possible. (2) All event employees shall maintain availability for all High Impact Events as required by Clause 21.2(b)(4). It will be the responsibility of the employee to meet their availability requirement through the Employee Self Service Portal. (3) Release from High Impact Events Shifts - employees may be excused from a High Impact Event shift if they are on authorized leave as set out in this agreement. The Employer will not unreasonably withhold approval of leave. (4) Employees will affirm their availability within 10 days of notification of a high-impact event. Where possible, the Employer will post the final work schedule one month in advance. Sign up on the Short Call List will be available for the first seven days after posting.
