Common use of Historically Underutilized Clause in Contracts

Historically Underutilized. Business (HUB) pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code, Chapter 2161, means a business that is at least 51% owned by an Asian Pacific American, a Black American, a Hispanic American, a Native American and/or an American Woman; is an entity with its principal place of business in Texas; and has an owner residing in Texas with proportionate interest that actively participates in the control, operations, and management of the entity’s affairs.

Historically Underutilized. Business (HUB) pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code, Chapter Ch. 2161, means a for-profit entity that has not exceeded the size standard prescribed by 34 TAC §20.294, and has its principal place of business that in Texas, and is at least 51% 51 percent owned by an Asian Pacific American, a Black American, a Hispanic American, Native American, American woman and /or Service Disabled Veteran with a Native American and/or an American Woman; is an entity with its principal place Service related disability of business in Texas; and has an owner residing 20% or greater, who reside in Texas with proportionate interest that and actively participates participate in the control, operations, operations and management of the entity’s 's affairs.
