If school is in session on a day that is a regular holiday for custodians, custodial employees shall be entitled to schedule an individual day off, to be mutually scheduled with the supervisor provided ten (10) calendar days are given as advance notification and approval secured in writing and the employee is subject to recall for emergencies. In the case of ties on the request for days off, seniority shall govern the granting of the day, otherwise days will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
