The 'Hourly Assignments' clause defines the terms under which work is performed and compensated based on the number of hours worked. Typically, this clause specifies the hourly rate, the process for tracking and approving hours, and any limits or requirements for overtime. For example, it may require workers to submit timesheets for approval or set a maximum number of billable hours per week. Hourly Assignments. Hourly assignments for faculty shall be paid on the hourly rate as shown in Appendix A, Hourly Salary Schedule. Initial placement and advancement shall be as defined in Article XVIII - Salaries.

Hourly Assignments. The Department of Chemistry and Physics will have a single process for hourly assignments, which will be created according to the following steps:
1. A new hourly assignment procedure will be written that applies to Chemistry and Physics hourly assignments and is the same for both disciplines with regard to summer assignments and special expertise.
2. The new hourly assignment procedure will be brought to the Chemistry and Physics faculty for their review and input.
3. The Length-of-Service (LOS) lists from the two disciplines will be merged into a single list according to the date that determines the position of each faculty member of the list. In the case that two or more instructors have the same date of hire, the cluster ▇▇▇▇ and the AFA president will hold a lottery to determine the order in which those faculty members will appear on the list. The original order on the LOS list within each discipline will be preserved.
4. The Department of Chemistry and Physics will provide AFA and the District a database of load histories, including cancellations, for all assignments in 2013- 2014.
5. AFA and the District will review and approve the new Hourly Assignment Procedures and the new LOS list.
Hourly Assignments. 1. For the purposes of hiring, the Counseling and EOPS department will maintain three separate associate faculty pools: General Counseling, EOPS Counseling, and Human Services. All associate faculty members in the Counseling and EOPS department will be notified of their right to apply for these pools.
2. Per §16.02.B.5, the department will create a single Length-of-service list.
3. Per §16.05.B, current members of the EOPS discipline will develop special expertise for EOPS counseling and teaching assignments. As a consequence of this MOU, the proposed DSPs will be shared with the department and go directly to a vote per 16.05.B.4.
Hourly Assignments. The length of any hourly assignments offered to graduate students will be set forth in the posting for the position. Hourly assignments are subject to availability and funding, and are subject to change or cancelation. Serving in one hourly assignment does not guarantee that students will receive additional assignments or qualify for other assignments. Nothing in this Agreement shall alter any work study rules and requirements or any University processes and procedures that apply to hourly student assignments, including how assignments are processed and students are paid for those assignments.
Hourly Assignments. “Hourly assignments” means those assignments, generally paid on an hourly basis (Article 26: Salary Schedule Development) which remain available after all assignments for contract faculty and one- year agreements have been made or determined. Summer session and overload assignments for contract faculty are hourly assignments.
Hourly Assignments. Upon receiving a plan review task by the City, BHC and the City will determine the maximum allowed hours to be utilized for the complete review of the task. If, after starting the initial review, it is determined by BHC that the maximum hours required to complete the task exceed the initial estimate, BHC will not proceed with the review until the City has considered and either authorizes additional hours or determines that BHC has completed the review to the City’s satisfaction.
