Housing and Community Development Act. 1. The work to be performed under this Agreement is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, 12 U.S.C. § 1701u (Section 3). The Parties agree to comply with HUD's regulations in 24 CFR Part 135, which implement Section 3. The Parties certify that they are under no contractual or other impediment that would prevent them from complying with the Part 135 regulations.

REHABILITATION ACT OF 1973. Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794), as amended, and with all applicable implementing regulations. Any contract in excess of $10,000 entered into by any Federal department or agency for the procurement of personal property and non- personal services (including construction) for the United States shall contain a provision requiring that the party contracting with the United States shall take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment qualified individuals with disabilities. No otherwise qualified individual with handicaps in the United States shall, solely by reason of his or her handicap, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal assistance.
