ICC CERTIFICATION. A. Employees who are employed in the classifications listed below who are certified by the following professional associations: International Code Council (ICC); International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO); National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); National Inspection Testing and Certification (NITC); (any of the above professional associations which shall hereinafter be referred to as ICC or a successor organization as certified by Management) shall receive, in addition to all regular and premium compensation, pensionable salary at the second premium level rate (5.5%) above the step rate prescribed for the appropriate class: Building Inspector, Senior Building Inspector, Building Mechanical Inspector, Senior Building Mechanical Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Senior Electrical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Senior Plumbing Inspector, Heating and Refrigeration Inspector, Senior Heating and Refrigeration Inspector, Fire Sprinkler Inspector, Senior Fire Sprinkler Inspector, Housing Inspector and Senior Housing Inspector. Employees in Public Works, LAWA, POLA, LADBS, and HCIDLA in the above mentioned inspector classifications shall be reimbursed for the examination fees required to obtain a valid certificate. Employees shall be reimbursed for successful completion of examination(s) upon presentation by the employee of a paid receipt for such fees and a valid certification to his/her appointing authority. The reimbursement shall occur within three (3) pay periods. B.
